Happy Valentine’s Day!

Today would be a great day to interview your parents! Here is a list of questions to get you started.

1. How did you meet?
2. When and where did you meet?
3. Was it love at first sight?
4. When did you know you were in love?
   
5. What happened when you got engaged?
6. Did you always want to get married? Why or why not?
7. What was your wedding like?

Now for a few questions about Valentine’s Day for your parents.

1. Did you celebrate Valentine’s Day growing up?
2. What did you do at home and school to celebrate?
3. Do you still celebrate Valentine’s Day?

Now here is your assignment. Write a story about how your parents met. Then write a story about how your parents celebrated Valentine’s Day growing up compared to how you celebrate it. Is it the same or different? How?
